Position Summary

As a Racket Stringer & Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing professional racket stringing services while delivering an outstanding retail experience. You will help customers select the right rackets, strings, shoes, and accessories based on their playing style and needs, while ensuring every stringing job meets our high standards of quality and consistency.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong knowledge of badminton or tennis, and has experience stringing rackets professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Professionally string badminton and/or tennis rackets with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
• Complete stringing orders within established turnaround times while maintaining exceptional workmanship.
• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate rackets, strings, grips, footwear, shuttlecocks, tennis balls, and accessories.
• Educate customers on product features, string characteristics, tension recommendations, and equipment maintenance.
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized customer service.
• Meet individual and store sales goals through excellent product knowledge and customer engagement.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Receive, stock, organize, and merchandise inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment.
• Stay current on new products, technologies, and industry trends.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Assist with additional store projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must have prior experience stringing badminton and/or tennis rackets.
• Strong knowledge of badminton, tennis, or both.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality stringing work.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail or sporting goods sales experience.
• Experience using electronic stringing machines.
• Racket stringing certification is a plus.
• Bilingual or multilingual (Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, or other languages) is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• $18.00–$21.00 per hour, based on racket stringing experience, product knowledge, and overall qualifications.
• Flexible part-time schedule (15–25 hours per week).
